Our Team

Jonathan was born in South Korea and moved to Canada in 1998. He grew up in Abbotsford, BC where he studied all the way through his Bachelor’s degree at Columbia Bible College. He has served in Korean congregations as a pastor and is pursuing to become an ordained pastor through the MDiv program at Regent College. As part of the MDiv, he completed his two year internship ministry at Hope, before moving into a Part-Time Pastor role.

Jon’s family includes his wife Mun (pronounced “moon”) and his sons Joseph and Timothy. This is the first time in Jon’s life where he and his family will be joining a Canadian congregation. He hopes to learn and become part of the Hope family to share in God’s blessings together as the body of Christ.

In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys sports and music.
