With a commitment to safety, we follow our Safe Ministries Policy & Procedures (SMPP) in all ministries.
These policies & procedures work to protect & provide safe environments for children, minors, vulnerable persons and all who engage with HCC’s ministries. This includes following the BC Laws for Child Protection.
All staff and volunteers who serve children, youth, or vulnerable persons complete screening, including criminal‑record checks, interviews and references, before they begin ministry.
Safe Ministries and Abuse Prevention training is provided to all staff, leaders and volunteers.
